Sunday June 14: It’s flag day! The rain will be gone and great weather in store for our evening ceremony. Hate to park open at 6:30pm and ceremony at 7:30pm. Snacks and water available as well as restroom. You can sit inside or outside. Assistance will be available for those that want to walk out near the fire. Hope to see LOTS of you this evening. Flag Day Sunday June 14

Legion Post 762 will holding its annual Flag burning ceremony at the Park on North Church ST beginning at 7:30pm. ALL are welcome. Gate to the park will be open at 6:30. The ceremony is for the proper disposal of flags that have come to the end of their service life. Snacks and cold water will be available for everyone.

If you have flags that you would like properly destroyed, please drop them off at the Commanders house. 301 Ledgewood CT. There is a brown storage container near the front door they can be left in. Please have all flags dropped off by Saturday evening June 14.

Memorial Day Monday May 25, 2026: Legion Post 762 will be honoring our fall en heroes at our 3 local cemeteries. Our first ceremony will be at Trissel cemetery on South Diamond Mill RD at 8am, followed by Eversole cemetery on Old Dayton RD at 8:30, and our last cemetery will be Holp on South Clayton RD at 9am. The public is invited and welcome to attend any and all ceremonies. We would really like to see as many members of our community and Post 762 attend and help honor our fallen heroes.
