My latest variation on the Havana bench is available through

Havana bench - bleached ambrosia maple
W 56” x d14.5” x h 18”

A departure from past variations, I chose to use a unified color and grain pattern. The bleached ambrosia maple lends a rich, subtle visual depth, while emphasizing the bold form and structure. The sculpted and bowed stretcher supports the “floating” seat.

Your Sunday garden report- First edition for 2026
and I got a late start this year, a combination of a busy spring schedule and cold rainy weather on the weekends.

Finally in the end of April and early May we got it together to get the garden going. The continued dreary weather was great for the leafy greens. The lettuce has taken off as have the arugulas and tendergreen.

The chard seems to have suffered early on but now with the hot sunny days it is starting to take off. This year we have opted for wider spacing and fewer rows. It means more weeds but perhaps better yield.

This year has also found us on an active buffet line for the deer. Quite frustrating and not sure the best way to combat with out putting up an 8 foot fence in our front yard. Any suggestions would be helpful!
