Cheers to the weekend Morgantown! Here’s a sneak peek at some of this weekend’s features! We are trying out a toasted orzo with chicken and olives, and a delicious lentil beet and carrot salad! Josh also whipped up an herbaceous pomegranate and grapefruit mocktail, and we have Karithopita (Greek Walnut Cake) for dessert if your sweet tooth has been craving something special! Happy Saturday Morgantown! We’ll be serving up some Greek Mezethakia (small plates) this evening, including this buttery Tiropetakia, a cheese stuffed phyllo triangle that’s absolutely to die for! One of our lovely regulars at suggested a pie they experienced while visiting Alsace, France. The Tarte Flambée features a crème fraîche base, crispy bacon, sautéed onions, caraway, and just a pinch of nutmeg! We loved it and will feature the rest of the weekend, so stop down sometime!

It’s that time of year again! The Mountaineers take on Pittsburgh this evening for the 105th edition of the Backyard Brawl. 75 miles separate these two schools but we have a lot in common. In 1750 Rye Whiskey was first distilled in PA. The areas surrounding both WVU and Pitt were once the land that produced a lot of the rye whiskey made in the country. So while the Panthers and Mountaineers are playing this evening, stop by and celebrate with a nice Manhattan or Rye Old Fashioned. Hail WV! Cheers!

Do you like a Negroni but also find it just a little bit too bitter? You can try adding a whole raw egg to soften the bitterness and create and rich and creamy flavor. Try a Negroni Flip out tonight!
