The fourth annual Apothecary Oktoberfest Weekend is coming up this Friday, September 18, and Saturday, September 19!

As in years past, we’re planning a special tap takeover in the biergarten featuring some of our favorite breweries from Southern Germany. This year, we’re tapping two ceremonial gravity kegs of Festbier from Weihenstephan. The first keg will be tapped by Morgantown Mayor Danielle Trumble at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. The second keg will be tapped at 5:30 p.m. by longtime Apothecary regular Bob Tallaksen. O’ Zapft is!

There will be traditional brass bands in the garden both nights. Friday night, we’ll host the Wurst Band starting at 6 p.m., and on Saturday, we welcome back the Mountaineer Brass Scholars starting at 4:30 p.m.

You know we’ll have plenty of prizes, games, and giveaways lined up for both afternoons. Stay tuned for more info!

Lastly, we have a fantastic Bavarian-style menu planned, featuring bratwurst, knockwurst, weisswurst, schnitzel, pretzels, and more!
