When we started planning this collaboration with our friends at HammerHeart Brewing in Ely, Minnesota, we knew the name and label had to pay tribute to some iconic pieces of Scandinavian culture right here in Moorhead: our replica Stave Church and the Viking ship Hjemkomst!

So, we present to you Kirkefisker, which translates to “church fisherman” in Norwegian.

This smoked Helles l***r pours golden and crisp, with a smooth, easy-drinking malt character and a touch of smoky goodness. Think fresh-baked bread, a hint of campfire, and a clean finish that’ll have you raising your horn for another sip. Skål!

And speaking of church and fishing, have you heard the classic Midwestern pastor’s joke?
