23 years apart… the first photo is Courtney getting off the bus at Black Bear on her first day of school. And yesterday, I waited outside at Rustic Pines and watched Adelyn get off the bus after her first day of 4K. 🚌 ❤️. How did 23 years go by so fast? From watching my daughter step off that bus to now watching Adelyn do the same.

 So many of you have watched Courtney grow up, and now you’re watching Adelyn grow up too. Thank you for being part of our lives and all these memories along the way.. 🥰 

And once again today, I’ll be waiting in the Rustic Pines parking lot at 4 PM watching for that school bus to come down the road… 🚌 A new routine.

Well, last night took us by surprise!!😳. I thought things might slow down a bit with school starting back up… Boy was I wrong!

A huge thank you to everyone who patiently waited and were so understanding. ❤️ And to those who chose to leave because the wait times had gotten so long, I am sorry and hope you’ll try Rustic Pines again.  If you were here, you saw it.- none of us stood still! We ran our tails off all night long! We may be a small crew, but a darn good one! Thankful for all of you! 🥰

Around 9:30PM, I finally got to enjoy my PB&J. 🥪. Pretty bad when you own a restaurant and that’s for dinner- but I can’t complain, it’s one of my favorites.

We are lucky to have such amazing customers at Rustic Pines! ❤️A special delivery today- Banana Cream Pie Cheesecake! 🍌 🍰 Good thing I run a marathon every day around here.😊. Wednesdays are our busiest days behind the scenes at Rustic Pines. 📦😅
Each day there are several hours of unpacking, organizing, stocking, cleaning and prep before we even open the doors- and sometimes our early-bird customers get put to work too! 😆.  We really do have the best customers, always willing to lend a hand when we need it! ❤️

Another busy week at Rustic Pines with lots and lots of pizza carryouts! 🍕. -this picture especially stands out to me and takes me back 14 years ago… these families have been customers of Rustic Pines since day one, and I can’t begin to say how much I appreciate their continued support over all these years! ❤️

And seeing them always brings back one of the funniest- and most frightful-memories I have from those early days. During the remodel, not long after I opened, a BAT was flying around the bar!! 😂🦇 Joanne had her head down on the table with her hoodie pulled over her head, while I was behind the bar, on the floor screaming -with a bar sign tin covering my face and head!!😱😳 Meanwhile, one brave customer calmly scooped that bat up with his baseball hat! 😂
A memory I’ll never forget. 🥰 Thank you guys for all these years!! We appreciate you!
