Over the past couple of months, our community and surrounding area have experienced far too much loss and heartbreak.

There really aren't words that can make times like these easier. So many families, friends, classmates, coworkers and loved ones are grieving — some very publicly, others quietly.

Behind every loss is a family trying to figure out how to move forward, friends missing someone they thought they'd have much longer, and people simply trying to make sense of something that may never make sense.

Please look out for one another. Check on your friends. Check on your neighbors. Give someone a little extra grace. Hug your people a little tighter, and don't miss the opportunity to tell someone how much they mean to you.

We're a small town, and when one of us hurts, that hurt is felt by many. Sometimes simply being there for one another is the best thing we can do.

To everyone carrying the weight of a loss right now — please know you are in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers. ❤️

Our hearts go out to our neighbors in Mindoro at CJ's Cut Inn, after hearing about the fire.

Owning a small-town bar means pouring so much of yourself into a place that becomes part of the community, and we can only imagine how difficult today must be.
