Since 1890, this Chicago building has been a butcher shop, a grocery, a saloon and a much-loved neighborhood dive.

Today it's Belmont Tavern, original tin ceiling and all. Talk about aging well.

And guess what? We're on the menu.

📍 Come for a drink at 3405 W Belmont Ave, Chicago

The Puglia Paloma takes our Grapefruit Soda somewhere delicious and unexpected. Nutty, citrusy, a little sour, endlessly sippable.

🍊 Stone sour fans, this one's calling your name.

If you haven't heard: the building attached to our warehouse collapsed on September 7th, trapping [number] pallets of brand-new product with it.

We're actively working with our distributors and co-packers, and we're in conversations with new warehouses to figure out the best next step.

These sorts of unexpected catastrophes can often lead small businesses to closing their doors. But we're determined for that not to be our story. So if you're new here: welcome. We've made some new friends since the news broke. And if you've been part of the Top Note fam for a while: thank you, truly, for the support that's carrying us through this.

Running a small business under ordinary circumstances is challenging. Having the building connected to you collapse days after a fresh production run was delivered? That really ups the ante. But fortunately, no one was injured, and we're used to being scrappy. We're Milwaukeans, for gosh sake.

That said, it's still hard. So if you've been a Top Note fan wondering how you can help our small team, this one's for you.

1. We've opened pre-orders for a Top Note variety pack. Buy one for you. Buy one for a friend. Buy 12. We don't know exactly when we'll have product back in hand, but your pre-order helps us keep things moving.

Pre-order here! https://store.topnotetonic.com/collections/mixed_packs/products/variety-pack-pre-order

2. Remind your bartenders how much you love us. We adore our bar and restaurant partners, and we'd hate to lose accounts over this.

3. Find us at your local grocery store. Check the link in our bio for the closest retailer near you.

And lastly, pour yourself something delicious and enjoy it for us. It's been one hell of a few weeks.

xx

Unfortunately Top Note fam, we don't have much of an update 🫠

Things are moving carefully (read, slowly) at the warehouse so we are still unable to access our freshly delivered products.

As we know more about our next steps, we will be sure to keep you all posted! Until then, please enjoy a spritz in our honor 🥂
