This free family-friendly block party runs 1-7pm and celebrates the intersections of community causes and art creation. Interactive tables of 30+ community orgs, a punk rock rummage sale, seasonal treats, nourishing music from around the city & world 🇿🇲 🇨🇦

Afterparty inside Cactus welcomes a barrage of glitch, pop, hip hop and post-punk 🌐 All music to move your body to 🪩

Madison-based drum and bass duo Dad Bods craft loud, fast punk rock. Their gritty aggression and infectious melody captivate audiences. Along for the ride are emotional post hardcore / discordant indie punks Courtesy, as well as indie quartet Heavy Bend, whose fuzz-saturated guitars, blunt drums and melodic bass lines balance Americana sensibilities with the grit and emotion of hard rock. Through found sounds and tape collages, Atlanta-based Orchid Mantis crafts atmospheric lofi and pop songs about forgetting.

He's joined by SSAANN, a group that pairs hypnotic dream pop with dramatic shoegaze and romantic soft vocals with massive guitar textures. Also taking the stage is indie emo group I'll Remember April.

Help ⚠️ 11 year old Cofie Rose was hospitalized after being severely bitten by a dog. We organized a print sale to help support this sweet family in a time of need. Cofie is the oldest child of Tia Rose Woods, our dear friend and the amazing talent behind much of Cactus’ visual identity. Since 2016 Tia has illustrated countless fliers for shows and events, designed the Black Lives Matter and Abolish Ice fundraising signs, painted our artist load-in door and 3x the front door.

3 sliding-scale ($30-$250) print options are available at shop.cactusclubmilwaukee.com: a Tia painting, a Cofie painting and Tia’s 2025 Cactus door. Sliding-scale means pay what you can. 100% of sales will be sent to the family.
