What’s up you dang freaks and a big oh s**t thanks readers for thinking we’re 🆒! I don’t know that we’ve ever gotten a local thing like this before? Anyway neighborhood bar is kinda dumb in bay view where every single bar in the neighborhood rules anyway i actually have content to share on here which is a good time to tell you that as always we are CLOSED Monday to eat so much mayonnaise with our friends so come on down today and tomorrow and then stay the hell away from us lest ye be invited to the hpnotic drenched picnic

A year ago today we became temporarily closed because bar became an underwater exhibit for a future climate museum and it’s basically become our whole identity of being the bar that floods. Since then we were nominated for a Beard award, flooded and closed again, and got some more national recognition. It’s been a cruel joke of a year but we honestly shouldn’t be here and we couldn’t be here without the friends we’ve made in the neighborhood and the cocktail community regionally and beyond. And our graphic designer. And our comms team. And Zach Castillo. And the big guys who help us move big s**t. And our regulars turned mask wearing mold scrubbers. Legit brings tears to my eyes to remember all the people who did stuff for us last year. And it’s funny to have had storms the last couple of days and how eerily silent the basement has felt. Thanks for keeping us alive yall.

Hello hello we are writing to inform you that we are closed to the public come 7 PM for our GOOD friends who KINDa want the place to themselves to scream and kick back fear not karaoke heads we are moving the regular festivities of karaoke to tomorrow for your singing pleasure so come through today 4 til 7 then try our new ejection seats and then take a nap and come back at 4 tomorrow til 2 am byeeee

Sup it’s Memorial Day weekend and as you know we are closed on Memorial Day and especially this one because we have to give it up to a bunch of our homies who came through and bled and sweat with us to get reopened so you know we gotta make them hot dogs and get them loaded up on twisted teas SOOO come through today and tomorrow we closed Monday and back at it on Tuesday LFG

Hello hello hello today we are open at 5 PM. We finished a massive plumbing project in the basement to try to on our end TRY and protect the biz from big old rains and im not really a MAN’s MAN so I can’t really give yall the plumbing lesson I just got from our very nice plumbers but uhhh hopefully we can work on sleeping more comfortably when the ground is 100% saturated and it’s raining heavy and the city is either bagging or not bagging leaves or whatever they decide and then take away. ANYWAY come through at 5 hang out embrace the now

AS PER OUR LAST POST, we are open at 7 PM today 5/18 on account of our cRaAaAzYyy wacky plumbing. I believe we will be open a bit late tomorrow but will let you know once we know our plumbing is in place and ready to go. Again thank you for your patience ackkk

Yo dudes today we ripped out the floor we spent a ton of money on from the August floods due to flooding from April and are getting ready to throw a ton of time money and energy into trying something else to prevent us from having this s**t happen again but who knows! Due to this Dexter scene of our gutted ass basement (where we prep) we are going to be out of some s**t and for that im super sorry to our first time guests and to anyone that just really likes something we can’t get around to at the moment. I have to be honest that the will to continue doing this is being vacuumed out of me by all of this s**t that’s out of our control but with your patience and support I know I’ll learn to love this s**t again. In the mean time, please come enjoy what weve got. This construction is supposed to be done later next week. We might have to adjust hours Monday/ Tuesday due to major plumbing work so please be on the lookout. Buy a bar they said LMAO
