🏡 Ethel Mutts Needs a FOSTER!!!

Ethel Mutts is nearing the completion of her training, and we couldn’t be more excited to share that her trainer says she has done incredibly well!

This little girl has come such a long way from the puppy who once had to fight just to survive. She’s learned so much, gained confidence, and is working hard on the skills that will help her become the best family dog she can be.

But now we have an important next step…

ETHEL NEEDS A FOSTER HOME!

With her training nearing completion, we need a safe, patient foster who can continue reinforcing everything she’s learned while she waits for her forever family.

We do not want all of Ethel’s hard work and progress to end with her going into a kennel at the Stray Cafe. She deserves the chance to transition from training into a loving home where she can continue to grow, learn, and finally just enjoy being a puppy.

If you have room in your home and heart for Ethel, please reach out. You could be the bridge that takes her from survival to the forever life she’s been waiting for. 💗

Meet Larry the Snail!

🐾 6-year-old Brussels Griffon/Shih Tzu mix | 13 lbs

Larry may look a little grumpy, but underneath that scruffy exterior is a sweet boy waiting to come out of his shell!

Found roaming onto a family’s property, Larry was initially wary of people but couldn’t resist making friends with their dog. With patience, gentle coaxing, and a loving foster home, his “grumpy” side is already starting to fade.

Now Larry is learning that people can be pretty wonderful, too! He’ll need a patient adopter who will give him time to decompress, build trust, and blossom at his own pace.

🐾 MEET KERBY — SCRUFFY, SWEET & READY FOR HIS FOREVER! 🐾

✨ One look into Kerby’s eyes and you’ll understand why we’re so in love with this boy. ✨

Kerby is a 1-year-old, 35–40 lb Border Terrier/Wire-Haired Pointer mix with scruffy perfection, a signature look, and a heart of gold. One ear stands proudly at attention while the other has decided life is better on “relax mode.” 😂❤️

But it’s those deep, gentle, mesmerizing eyes that will truly get you. Kerby has a way of looking straight into your soul as if he’s already telling you, “You’re my person.”

This sweet boy was pulled from the shelter just in the nick of time, and he has been decompressing beautifully. After experiencing the loud, dark, and scary shelter environment, Kerby is discovering something wonderful: the world can be safe, peaceful, and kind. 🥹
