This month carries a little more meaning around here.
Our Dolly was named after Dolly Parton, and somewhere along the way that name made its way onto the door of this little bar. So losing the woman who inspired her name feels especially close to home.
This month, we’re raising our glasses to the Queen herself. Not just for the music, but for the woman she was, the joy she put into the world, the generosity, the humor, the heart and the way she made being unapologetically yourself look damn good.
We’re still rounding out the details for a proper Celebration of Life at Dolly’s, and we promise, we’ll do her proud. Stay close to our socials for more on that very soon.
In the meantime, September is cooking. Chef Justen is back with a new seasonal menu, Red 5 is rolling in from Orlando with the sourdough Neo Neapolitan pies while we keep the Lambrusco flowing, Placebo FX is back behind the records, karaoke returns twice this month and there’s plenty more trouble on the calendar.
A whole month of eating, drinking, singing, spinning records and celebrating the good ones.
