Marinette Menominee Young Professionals MMYP is a committee of the Marinette Menominee Chamber of Commerce. We strive to Welcome, Attract, Value and Engage all Young Professionals in our area.

Marinette Menominee Young Professionals goals are to enhance the vitality of the Marinette Menominee region by creating a strong community of engaged young professionals throughout our area businesses. We're a organization made up of several sub-committees such as Professional Development, Events and Activities, Communications and Membership committees. Each committee strives to promote our values which are Welcome, Attract, Value, Engage. Our hope is to attract and retain young professionals to the businesses and opportunities in the Marinette Menominee area.

🎉We are very excited to introduce you to the newest member of the WAVE Steering Committee, Kaitlin Deschane!!

Kaitlin Deschane is the Program & Operations Director at the M&M Area Community Foundation, where she manages grants and scholarships. Born in the area, she moved to Sheboygan briefly before returning home to Crivitz. She has spent her entire 10+ year career in the nonprofit and government sectors. Kaitlin joined the steering committee to help young professionals in the region build stronger connections to each other and to the community. Outside of work, she can usually be found walking her two dogs or curled up with them and a good book.

The WAVE gathered together Thursday evening, August 20th, for a Food Truck Rally put on by the Menominee Historic Downtown Farmers Market at the Menominee Marina. The event allowed attendees to support the Downtown Menominee Farmers Market Food Truck Rally while enjoying an evening of local food, conversation, and community connections.

WAVE brought young professionals together Thursday, August 13th, for an evening of networking, conversation, and live music in downtown Menominee. The event began at Murray’s Irish Pub & Grill, where attendees had an opportunity to meet fellow professionals and make new connections in a relaxed setting.
