Another brag on my employees!

Monday night, we held a bar meeting to figure out our new fall cocktails. For the first time ever, we had each bartender bring in a recipe. Brady made all of them, and we voted as a team on which ones would fit best for the restaurant.

I can honestly say this is probably the best cocktail list we’ve had!

And while these may not look the prettiest in this picture, I promise they’ll be presented much better. This was just the only picture we managed to snag.

Again, I can’t say enough how thankful I am for this team!

This year on the Fourth of July, I had three hosts and three expos (food runners). Yesterday, I had two expos and one host—and somehow, we were even busier than we were on the Fourth of July.

These three right here helped keep the restaurant running smoothly through all of it. A couple of weeks ago, when I was making the schedule, I realized that a lot of our hosts and expos had gone back to school, and I honestly didn’t have many people available to help that day. I texted these three in a group chat and asked if they’d be willing to work a double for me, and without hesitation, they all said yes. Mind you, some of them had already worked doubles on Saturday and Sunday too.

I’m so thankful for these three and their work ethic at such a young age. They showed up, worked hard, and kept smiling through the chaos. I appreciate them more than they’ll ever know. ❤️

Some people come through the doors as customers and, somewhere along the way, become family. 🤎

Back in June, we got to celebrate Linda’s birthday for the FOURTH year in a row! Since 2023, celebrating her has become a tradition around here, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Linda lives right up the street and joins us for lunch two or three times a week. She comes in, grabs her Diet Coke, checks in on everyone, and always makes time to catch up. We sit down at her table, she asks about our lives, and somewhere along the way, she became so much more than a regular.

She’s one of those people who comes through the door and everyone knows her name. And when it’s time for her to head home, you’ll hear “Bye, Linda!” from just about everyone she passes.

That’s what makes this place so special. It’s more than serving food and drinks. It’s getting to know people, watching regulars become friends and friends become family, and getting to celebrate life right alongside them.

Happy belated Birthday, Linda! We love you and feel pretty lucky that you chose us as your home away from home. 🤎
