We are so thankful to share that Google removed the fake bot/scam reviews that had targeted The Cocoa Muse. We cannot thank our amazing community enough for stepping up, flagging them, encouraging us, and helping protect a small business like ours. ❤️

Don’t want to be closed off to just lemonade? We have another fun flight for all the coffee lovers out there, featuring our popular cold brew. Brewed fresh here on site, it really does not need any “spicing up” — but what’s the fun in that?

**UPDATE: Thanks to the amazing support of our community reporting these scammer reviews, Google has removed them! Thank you all SO much. We are sad to share that our small family-owned business has recently been targeted by a review scam that is affecting small businesses like ours.

The scam works like this: fake accounts or bots leave a 1-star review, then provide a phone number to call to have the review removed. Once a business calls, they know they have your attention and begin demanding payment to remove the fake review.

Unfortunately, these reviews are not from actual guests or customers. They are simply bots/scammers trying to hurt small businesses and pressure them into paying money.

What makes this especially frustrating is that they typically do not target larger businesses or franchises because they know those companies are less likely to call, pay, or even respond. Instead, they go after small, family-owned businesses that care deeply about their reputation, their guests, and their community.

We are asking for your help. If you see a clearly fake 1-star review on our Google page, would you please take a moment to flag it for removal? Just click the "hazard" symbol next to the review and mark it as "SPAM".
Google is much more likely to remove fake reviews when multiple people report them.
