IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

Hey Pretty Kitties!!! ROCKellz is RETIRING!!

After much thought, I've decided to retire from bartending within the traditional bars and nightclub setting. I will still be hosting events,
private parties and doing special appearances. However the progression of my hearing loss sustained during an assault in 2018 is making it more and more difficult to manage in live music venues and clubs ❤️

For years, I've had the privilege of serving incredible people, hearing countless stories, celebrating milestones, and creating experiences that went far beyond pouring drinks. To those guests and bar owners who treated hospitality workers with kindness, patience, and respect—you made even the longest shifts worthwhile, and I'll always be grateful.

However, the service industry has changed, and so have I.

Somewhere along the way, the balance between providing great service and preserving personal dignity became increasingly difficult to maintain. Too often, hospitality professionals are expected to absorb disrespect, entitlement, and outright rudeness in exchange for a paycheck. While I've always believed in hard work and taking pride in what I do, I've reached a point where my personal values matter more than the money.

This decision isn't driven by burnout alone. It's driven by a commitment to myself. I've learned that success isn't just measured by income—it's measured by peace of mind, self-respect, and the ability to walk away from situations that no longer align with who you are.

So, with equal parts gratitude and relief, I'm hanging up the bar key.

Thank you to the coworkers, regulars, friends, and genuine human beings who made this chapter unforgettable.

As for the rest—consider this my last call.
