Stars and Stripes over Whisper Grey, and this 21 EVO is at Lake X right now getting its prop dialed in.

A 300 Pro XS with DTS on a Sea Star 12-inch jackplate, Sea Star Pro tilt steering, and an Impulse paddle switch for the plate. Mercury's team is running it through prop testing before it comes home and heads to South Carolina.

A GPSMAP 8616xsv with a 943xsv mounted below it, a Force Kraken 75 on the port nose, and a removable LiveScope pole off the port side. A stand-up skinny console with six rod holders and a toe kick, a color-matched composite console door, and a West Coast style lean post with a livewell under an acrylic lid and four rod holders set high on the backrest. Twin livewells with Gemlux fittings and recirc, both finished in light blue.

The front deck is removable and sits out wide on legs with turnbuckles. Satin black texture powder coat throughout, black rub rail with a black insert, Mystic White cushions with white diamond stitching, blue under-gunnel lighting, and a 65 aft. Riding on a trailer with a stainless axle and a spare hub.

Adam walks a Moondust Vantage headed for Florida's Gulf Coast.

Moondust on the hull, deck, console, cockpit, and non-skid, with an old-school East Cape V on the bulkhead — the owner's call, and it suits the boat.

A 90 in black with Baystar steering and a stainless three-blade. Up front, a Recon on the starboard bow running 36V lithium out of the console, wired to a Lowrance HDS 10, with a .Pole Micro to port.

Go Fast poling platform with a white spreader light underneath, a trap-style casting platform on the forward hatch, a folding backrest with a step, and a telescoping boarding ladder to starboard. Mocha over Black decking with a pinline on both platforms, tarpon-scale under-gunnel padding, Beige Simtex with black stitching, black rub rail. An EVO-style livewell tucked port aft, rod tubes three forward and one aft per side, and a 24-foot GLR3 in fixed classic clips. Riding on a trailer with a swing tongue.

The Vantage is the one people call when they want a technical skiff that still runs comfortably. This one is set up to do exactly that.

Thank you for trusting East Cape with your skiff.

What's the one detail you'd add?

Moondust top to bottom, with an old-school V on the bulkhead. This Vantage is headed north.

A 90 in black with Baystar steering and a stainless three-blade. A Recon on the starboard bow running 36V lithium out of the console, wired straight to a Lowrance HDS 10, and a .Pole Micro to port.

Go Fast poling platform, a trap-style casting platform on the forward hatch, a folding backrest with a step, and a telescoping boarding ladder to starboard. Mocha over Black decking with a pinline on both platforms, tarpon-scale under-gunnel padding, Beige Simtex with black stitching, and a black rub rail. An EVO-style livewell tucked port aft, rod tubes three forward and one aft per side, and a 24-foot GLR3 in fixed classic clips. Riding on a trailer with a swing tongue.

The V logo on the bulkhead was the owner's call. Some people want the history on the boat.

Thank you for trusting East Cape with your skiff.

Boat number three. Kevin walks a 21 EVO headed to the Middle Keys for an owner who already runs a 25 Open and an 18 EVO.

The 25 is rigged the same way, the 18 is his skiff, and this one fills the gap between them — snapper, bonefish, and everything in between out of Islamorada.

Up front, a .Pole Move on the bow, a run of rod holders, and a magnetic removable backrest for his that pops in when there's a third passenger. Wireless phone chargers with angle positioning in the console. NSO evo3S 19-inch electronics, plus a .Pole Vision that tracks battery voltage and motor data.

A compact lean post with a cooler slide, tackle station, and fixed cushion, and the same three-piece rear lounge as the 25 behind it.

Power is a 225 V6 on the standard midsection with fully electronic Dometic steering — no hydraulic lines — because that's what he runs on his other two boats. Aquamist top to bottom, all-black interior, Stinger Cream vinyl with black stitching, twin 1100 GPH livewells, Spectrum lighting under the gunnels and underwater, a port-side swim platform, a Fusion Apollo stereo with JL Audio M6s, and a trailer with a folding tongue and stainless axle.

A whole family of boats with the same layout, one customer, three times over.

Thank you for trusting East Cape with your boat — three times now.

Happy Labor Day from the East Cape family.

Boats don't build themselves. To the crew that lays the glass, rigs it, welds it, and finishes it — thank you.

To everyone out on the water this weekend: enjoy it and get home safe.

Boat number three. This 21 EVO joins a 25 Open and an 18 EVO in the same garage.

Aquamist top to bottom — hull, deck, console, cockpit, and lean post — with an all-black interior, Stinger Cream vinyl with black stitching, black texture powder coat, and a black rub rail with a stainless insert.

A 225 V6 DTS on a Sea Star 12-inch jackplate with Dometic electronic steering and C Zone digital switching. A NSO evo3S 19-inch system running an S3100H sonar module, ActiveImaging HD, and an Airmar B175 chirp transducer. A 72-inch .Pole Move on the port bow off 36V lithium, twin 1100 GPH aft livewells with Ho**er overflows and Gemlux fills, Spectrum lighting under the gunnels and underwater, a port-side swim platform, a Fusion Apollo stereo with JL Audio M6s and a 600-watt amp, and a hard-mounted 35.

Custom folding spool rod racks that clear room for spear gun mounts, and a light bar off the trolling motor plate that points down. That tells you how this one is going to get used.

Three boats in, and this one still got built from scratch around how he fishes. That's the whole job.

Kevin walks the VHP — and the first thing he gets into is the casting platform.

It's a hatch casting platform braced with a turnbuckle, so the deck you're standing on is the same hatch that's storing your gear. It's the kind of detail that makes no sense in a photo and obvious sense the second someone shows you.

Behind that: a Go Fast poling platform in brushed finish, Anchor over Black brushed decking with a pinline carried across the cockpit, the casting platform, and the poling platform, and a removable two-step boarding ladder to starboard with a folding backrest and step.

Power is a Pro XS 115 Command Thrust on a Bob's 4-inch jackplate with SeaStar steering and a stainless three-blade. A black .Pole Move on the port bow off 36V in the console, a black 6-foot .Pole anchor to port, and a NSS Evo 3S 9-inch with 3-in-1 transducer flush in the jumpseat console.

Ice Blue over Matterhorn White, black rub rail, satin black powder coat on the wheel, white vinyl with white top stitching. Tallahassee bound on an aluminum trailer with a swing tongue.

Thank you for trusting East Cape with your skiff.

A 17 EVOx rigged around LiveScope. Kevin walks this one before it heads to Pine Island.

The whole bow is built for it: a Force Kraken on a starboard nose mount, LiveScope running in Perspective mode off the trolling motor, and an ECHOMAP Ultra 2 12-inch flush in the console with a IS35 gauge alongside it. We ran NMEA to the bow and left an access hatch in the bulkhead so every bow component could be through-bolted properly.

The aft compartment got cut out completely — no livewell. This one is built to find fish, not hold them.

Underneath it: Guide Green over Matterhorn White, a 60 in black on an Atlas Micro jackplate, Baystar steering, and a stainless three-blade. Marine decking in Anchor Grey through the cockpit and across a 40-inch brushed poling platform with a front step, nylon rod spools, black rub rail, and Light Grey Simtex with black stitching. Riding on a trailer with a swing tongue.

Thank you for trusting East Cape with your skiff.
