We’ve got four very different nights of live music lined up, which means there’s a reasonably good chance one visit turns into, “Well... maybe we’ll come back tomorrow.”

Good wine. Live jazz. No urgent emails requiring your attention.
At least none we acknowledge after 6 PM.

The Mystic Tiger Band takes over Friday night.
We could tell you to behave responsibly and head home early.
But that seems wildly inconsistent with the spirit of Friday.

Saturday, September 19

Saturday belongs to Cadre Scott.
Grab some friends, settle in, and order that bottle you were pretending you were only “thinking about.”

We’re looking at temperatures pushing into the 90s this week!

So while the rest of Long Beach debates whether it’s technically still summer, we’re going with the more important question:

Red, white, rosé or beer?

The Mystic Tiger Band takes over Thursday night, which is a much better answer than “we know there’s music, but that’s about it.”

Summer Isn't Over Yet...

Every year it happens.
The calendar starts creeping toward September, kids head back to school, and everyone starts acting like summer is over.

Not so fast.

August has arrived, and apparently it came here to make some noise.

We have live music five nights in a row this week, starting with a doubleheader on Wednesday and ending Sunday night with yacht rock.

Somewhere in the middle, we’ll pour a little wine. Fine, probably more than a little.

🎶 This Week’s Live Music Lineup

Wednesday
Members, this one’s for you.

Our Members Night Tasting and Party runs from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., with Chris Laxamana providing the music from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Wine tasting, live music and your fellow members all in one place. Not a bad way to get over the emotional trauma of realizing it’s only Wednesday.

Members are free. Guests are $25. All are welcome.

Thursday 6:00–9:00 PM
Radio Flyer takes us back through the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s

Three decades of music. Some terrific fashion. A few hairstyles we should agree never happened.

Friday 7:00–10:00 PM
Start the weekend with the Legends of Rock Dance Band

Come ready to dance, sing along or sit comfortably with your wine while judging everyone else’s dance moves. All three are perfectly acceptable.

Saturday 7:00–10:00 PM
It should hit about 84 degrees Saturday, which is warm enough to justify something cold in your glass. As though we needed justification.

Then The Paul Wayne Show takes over with music, comedy, audience requests and whatever else Paul decides to drag everyone into this time.

Sunday 6:30–9:30 PM
Sunday is bringing another 84-degree afternoon, followed by Brown the CousCous and their yacht rock

No yacht required. Honestly, they’re expensive, hard to park and terrible at picking up a dinner check.

I only drink wine on days that end in “y.” It’s important to have boundaries.

Summer has officially settled into Long Beach, and this week is shaping up to be a good one.

Warm afternoons, comfortable evenings, and plenty of patio weather mean it’s the perfect excuse to leave the dishes in the sink and let someone else pour the wine.

Forecast highs are expected to reach the mid-to-upper 80s through much of the week, so our patio should be calling your name.
