Hello Facebook Friends!

I am excitied to announce a new project I am starting at the Veterans Memorial Park of Blaine, titled: "Veterans Memorial Park - Stories of Service."

The concept is simple: I am looking for Veterans who would be willing to meet me at the park and allow me to video record them sharing a story from their time in the service.

I already have a couple of Veterans lined up to kick this off:

One wants to tell the story of the bravest man he ever metβ€”a combat medic he served with who ultimately made the ultimate sacrifice.

The other will be sharing the story of his Marine Unit rescuing 7 POWs, including Jessica Lynch.

As I give tours of the Veterans Park, I realize that every single one of our Veterans has a story. Unless you have served, it’s impossible to truly understand what these heroes have been through. The original purpose of our Veterans Park was to educate, and I believe these raw, unedited stories need to be preserved in the words of the people who lived them.

By filming Veterans in front of the monuments that reflect their unique journeys, we can create an enduring archive of courage, dedication, and honor for future generations.

How you can help:
If you are a Veteran, or if you know a Veteran who might be willing to sit down with me and share a piece of their journey, please send me a send me a direct message or comment below so we can set something up.

Please share this post to help me spread the word! Thank you for helping me honor community's heroes.
