Come for the food, and stay for the stiff cocktails and live music five nights a week. Happy to be celebrating our fourth year in La Mesa - come grill a steak or enjoy a prepared meal if you don't feel like grilling! We offer live music anywhere from 5-7 times a week in the Turquoise Room, and the shows are always free! Great happy hour from 4-6pm every day, and from 9-close on Sunday-Thursday! We

Our grill is always on in the dining room at the Riv. You have the option to grill your own steaks or if you’re feeling like hanging out we have a full kitchen staff that can take care of all your dinner needs! We love a place with options 😎

DECEMBER wing of the month deserved a victory lap!
You gotta see it (and try it) to believe it! Apple harvest is our wing flavor for the last glorious month of 2025. Made with an apple mustarda, which balances the sweetness of cooked apples with the delicate tang of mustard seeds, as well as a delicious layer of melted cheddar cheese! You’ve tried them all before, but never have you ever had something as special as what chef Ian has created this month!

We have a lot to be thankful for over here at the Riv this holiday season! Family, friends (both old and new), the roof over our heads and the food in our bellies. We are so proud to be a part of the La Mesa community and are grateful to see so many of your faces each night. We are open with live Jazz tonight and some of the best food and drinks in the county!
