We live in strange times. Our response to this happens to be beer. Drink adventurously. Strange Days Brewing Co.

was created and inspired by the strange-ness around us. The name is meant to capture the times we are living in. Beer is an outlet for us and the beer community is a great escape from all the other “stuff” going on. We will be moving into 316 Oak Street, Kansas City, MO within KC’s River Market, a high-traffic and energetic portion of the city. The addition of the street car and the development ha

ppening all over the River Market is really exciting. Also, we get a lot of inspiration for our beer from global cuisine, so the diversity of the neighborhood and proximity to city market is a huge creative spark. There’s a lot of history in our building as it previously housed (a portion of) the historic Muehlebach Brewery & Schlitz, so we feel like we are oozing with inspiration. Our beers are globally focused, which for us is twofold. We plan to brew and serve a variety of traditional global styles but will also create new styles/flavors with both local & global spices, fruit etc. Our lineup will be rotating regularly and will contain wide variety of flavors/styles.

We’ll be open from Noon til 9pm on Monday for Labor Day! Kick back and enjoy some pints with us or grab some to-go beers or seltzers on your way to the BBQ!
Our food partners, Burn Theory, will be closed — but you’re welcome to bring in anything you would like to eat!

F1 Italy Grand Prix is this Sunday!!

Four Day Ferment will be here serving up breakfast burritos from 8-11am.
Beer will be flowing, the sound and TVs will be tuned to the race, so settle in and watch with us!

We’re your soccer headquarters! We want to see you for some watch parties this weekend! We’ve got a few good ones lined up!

The taproom will be OPEN LATE this Friday, til 11pm for the KC Current watch party!

Then Tottenham kicks off at 9am Saturday morning!
We will be serving breakfast burritos & the beer will be flowing

Our two most popular Oktoberfest beers are back!!
Festbier and Marzen are on tap now and available to go!

Festbier
A pale, easy-drinking German lager with soft bready malt flavor and a light floral, herbal hop character. It drinks like a slightly hoppier Helles, with a clean bitterness and crisp finish that keeps it bright and refreshing.

Märzen
A smooth, malt-forward amber lager with flavors of toasted bread and light caramelized malt. The hops stay in the background, adding just enough bitterness to keep the beer balanced and dry rather than sweet or heavy.

Tottenham vs Newcastle — watch party at 11:30am
KC Current vs NC Courage — tailgate at 3pm and watch party at 5:30pm

2nd week of EPL league is here with Tottenham taking on Newcastle this Saturday morning at 11:30am!
Burn Thoery will open at noon for some good eats, and the beer will be flowing at 11am!

Saturday, August 29th we have two soccer watch parties! Plus a tailgate before the KC current match!!
We’ll be open for pre game and post game beers and the taproom is a short ride or walk from the stadium if you’re catching the match there!

FULL MOON RIDE!

This Friday Kathy Cycles is having a night ride!
Take a bike ride under the full moon with friends. Meet at the brewery to sign a waiver, the ride starts at 8pm and will return around 9:30pm.
Free to join! Stick around to have a cold pint or two after the ride — we’re staying open late!

**20 ish mile ride, spare tube, lights, and helmet required
