Apparently, we do listen. 😂

The white Tiny Tap hats have been a hit, but we heard a few things:

“Too girly.”
“They’ll get dirty.”
“Do you have another color?”

Fine. Green hats are here. 💚

Hector grabbed one of the first ones, while Jerry is still sporting the white hat we gave him for his 90th — just a couple of old friends, former neighbors, and longtime Tiny Tappers hanging out at the bar.

And because apparently we’re full of new things this week, Hector is also trying one of our new Good Boy Vodka cocktails from John Daly — 95 calories, zero carbs, no carbonation, and something quite a few of you have been asking us to bring in.

New hats. New drinks. Same old Tap. 🍻

**Happy Birthday to our girl Sara! 🎉💜**

Sara started out the way a lot of good Tiny Tap stories do — as a regular who just… never left.

She regulared so hard that in March we finally put her to work, despite the minor detail that she had **zero bartending experience.** Turns out that didn’t matter much.

Since then, she’s become one of our regular Tiny Tenders, behind the bar several days a week with a smile on her face, always willing to go the extra mile for both her fellow tenders and our guests.

But don’t let that smile fool you. If you’ve had a few too many and start getting a little out of hand, Sara is also perfectly capable of telling you exactly how it’s going to be. 😂

We’re very lucky she wandered in, stayed awhile, and eventually ended up on the payroll.

THE MALÖRT WORLD RECORD.

📺 The livestream will be on.

The world record attempt is happening around 7:30 PM, so get here early, secure your position, and prepare your taste buds for their final deployment. At approximately 7:30, we raise our glasses to disappoint our ancestors and TAKE A SHOT OF MALÖRT TOGETHER.

🍺 OKTOBERFEST HAS ARRIVED AT THE TAP! 🍁

Yuengling Oktoberfest is now on draft — a smooth, copper-colored Märzen-style l***r with a little roasted malt flavor and a very drinkable 5.5% ABV.

Basically, it tastes like fall. And yes, we know it’s still August. We don’t make the b**r calendar. 🤷‍♀️

For now, Oktoberfest is taking over the Yuengling Flight tap, but Flight fans, don’t panic. We’ve still got the whole Yuengling family:

🍺 Oktoberfest — draft, 10 oz. or 16 oz.
🍺 Yuengling L***r — 12 oz. bottle
🍺 Yuengling Light — 12 oz. bottle
🍺 Yuengling Flight — 12 oz. slim can

⚾️ LATE-SEASON LINEUP CHANGE AT THE TAP! ⚾️

We know the schedule says Tari during the day and Elisabeth closing…but apparently we decided to shake up the roster. 😂

Conrad is getting the rare Friday DAY shift, and Sara is coming in at 6 to take you through the close.

Downtown Kankakee’s last Sunset Stroll of the year kicks off at 6, so here’s the game plan:

🍺 Stop in and see Conrad before you head downtown.
🌅 Enjoy the Sunset Stroll.
🍻 Then head back to the Tap and let Sara take you through the late innings.

Same Tap. Slightly different lineup.

And unlike baseball, we’re not calling it a rebuilding year. 😂
