👨🍳 MEET CHEF WILL 👨🍳
Meet the chef behind The Kitchen at Crabapple.
Chef Will has spent the last 14 years cooking around Atlanta, with stops at Canoe, Ecco, 7 Lamps and The Nest. Along the way, he’s worked everywhere from upscale kitchens to laid-back neighborhood spots, which is exactly the balance he’s bringing to The Kitchen: thoughtful food, strong technique and zero need to make things feel overly complicated.
He isn’t classically trained. Will learned by doing, working his way through kitchens and picking things up from the chefs around him. One of his biggest influences is Chef Matt at Canoe, who helped shape his approach to keeping the finer details sharp while still making food feel approachable.
A few things to know about Chef Will:
🌱 Serious gardener with a greenhouse in his backyard
🌶️ Growing beefsteak tomatoes, herbs, serranos, habaneros, cayennes, strawberries, blackberries and more
🍦 Very into ice cream and already thinking about what he can do with it
🍳 Big brunch guy
🎧 Favorite Artist is J.I.D.

Chef Will will be leading the opening and day-to-day of The Kitchen, and we’re excited to start introducing you to the people bringing this whole thing to life.
