Shade was built to bring something bold, welcoming, and truly unique to Jackson and to Mississippi’s LGBTQIA+ community — and we’re proud of the vibrant, safe space it has become. Long term ownership was never our goal.

As we look to the future, we see an exciting opportunity for someone with passion and vision to take Shade even further. The bar is profitable, thriving, and ready for an owner-operator who believes in community and wants to help shape its next chapter.

This is not a closing announcement. Shade is a thriving business — we’re simply exploring what the next evolution could look like.

If you love what Shade stands for and think ownership might be the right opportunity for you, submit a Letter of Interest to [email protected] by February 28, 2026.

Early next year, we’ll share additional information with those who express interest and qualify to move forward. We’re excited to see who’s ready to help carry this mission forward with energy, vision, and heart.
