We have had to postpone putting out the Flags until Sunday May 17th due to weather. PLEASE meet at the Post at 8:45 to go over to the cemetery. The cemetery is Floral Park if you’d rather meet up there. Post 2839’s area is towards the back

The Post is asking for volunteer assistance on Saturday, May 16, to place flags on our Veterans' graves at Floral Park. Volunteers will assemble at the post at 9 AM before proceeding to the cemetery. Please let us know if you are able to help.

In honor of Cinco de Mayo and our FIRST MONTHLY DRAW (if your not signed up get signed up we draw at 6pm), we will be having taco Tuesday!! Tacos (hard and soft) $1.00 if you’d like supreme, they will be $1.50!! We will also offer tostadas for the same price and a taco salad for $5.00!! Can’t go wrong with those prices!!

The post is starting a Monthly Draw. First drawing will be Tuesday May 5th, it’s $5.00 per line and you can have as many lines as you want. The Monthly draw will take place the first Tuesday of every month. Whatever number line you pick that will be your number until you miss 2 consecutive months then it can be sold. This is a must be present to will draw so there will be no carry over. If winner is not present we will draw until someone present wins!!
