Today we’re doing something a little special for the people who help make Sloppy Joe’s what it is.

Several members of our team are celebrating graduation this weekend, and we’re giving them the afternoon off to enjoy these important moments with their families.

As a result, Sloppy Joe’s will close early today.

🍔 Food service will be available until Noon
🍻 The bar will remain open until 1:00 PM

We’re incredibly proud of these young men and women and grateful for everything they do for our guests throughout the year. Family has always been at the heart of Sloppy Joe’s, and today we’re excited to celebrate theirs.

Thank you for your understanding, and please join us in congratulating our graduates as they begin their next chapter.

As many of you know, June 1 marks the official passing of the torch at Sloppy Joe’s as Matt Prostek and his family begin the next chapter of ownership.

To help ensure a smooth transition, Sloppy Joe’s will be closed June 1, 2, and 3.

During those few days, we’ll be taking care of inventory, paperwork, operational handoff items, and all the little details that come with transitioning ownership after 23 years.

Nothing dramatic.

No major changes.

Just a little time to get organized and start this next chapter the right way.

We’ll reopen on Thursday, June 4, ready to welcome everyone back.

We know many of you have been following along with the transition (50k views on our video!), and we can’t thank you enough for the support, encouragement, and 300+ positive Facebook comments you’ve shared with the entire team.

The traditions, familiar faces, and community spirit that have made Sloppy Joe’s special aren’t going anywhere.

We’re simply taking a few days to turn the page and begin the next chapter.

Hello all of my musical friends! Today Ellen and I close out our final chapter at Sloppy Joe’s. Tonight we hand over the keys to the new owners!

We have live music at 3pm from Milwaukee Mike and the Mob. If any of you feel up to it to stop by and sit in for a tune or two, we would certainly be honored to have you do so!
