Colleen and the crew spent their Wednesday kayaking before paddling back to dry land for dinner and a bottle (or two 😉) of w**e at Sloppy Joe’s.

It really is a family affair at Sloppy Joe’s.

When the Prostek family took over in June, they didn’t just put their name behind the restaurant. They put their hands to work, building the kind of place they’d want their own family, friends and neighbors to enjoy.

While Matt’s in the kitchen creating new dishes for the family’s official taste tester (mom, Colleen), Matt’s brother Josh and their dad, Greg, have been busy making improvements around the restaurant.

Monday’s project: a new door for the kitchen.

It’s one of many upgrades happening around here, all with the same goal: creating a great place to eat, a great place to work and a place that always feels a little like home.

That’s what being a family-owned restaurant means to us.

Where strangers become friends and friends become family.
