WISCONSIN, HISTORY HAS BEEN MADE
Some of us have waited our entire lives for this moment. Some of us grew up hearing stories about 1982.
Some of us watched our parents and grandparents cheer for this team year after year, hoping that someday we’d finally get to say it.
THE MILWAUKEE BREWERS ARE WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS! 🏆
FIRST WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP IN FRANCHISE HISTORY! ⚾️
And what a hell of a season it was.
💙 A franchise-record 103 regular-season wins.
💛 An incredible 11–2 postseason record.
💙 Took down the San Diego Padres.
💛 SWEPT THE DODGERS 🧹
💙 Defeated the Tampa Bay Rays 4 games to 1.
💛 William Contreras named World Series MVP.
💙 And after 44 years since their last World Series appearance, the Commissioner’s Trophy is FINALLY coming home to Milwaukee!
From Christian Yelich and Jackson Chourio to Jacob Misiorowski, William Contreras, Cooper Pratt and every single player who made this possible — YOU DID IT.
And we’d like to think somewhere up there, Bob Uecker had the best seat in the house 👑
But this championship means so much more than baseball.
It’s generations of Wisconsin families. It’s the fans who never stopped believing. It’s packed bars, living rooms full of screaming families, strangers high-fiving strangers and an entire state coming together for something we’ll be talking about for decades.
Here at Sal’s, we’ve celebrated the wins, cursed at the losses, poured the home run shots and shared every nerve-racking inning with all of you.
And last night, we got to celebrate something none of us had ever experienced before.
To everyone who watched with us throughout this unbelievable season, THANK YOU for making Sal’s part of your Brewers memories.
