Rounding out our Misery Cast Spotlights is Tammy White, taking on the iconic role of Annie Wilkes!

We asked Tammy a few questions about stepping into the world of Misery, what excites her about bringing Annie to life, her favorite scares, and a little about herself offstage.

Name & role in Misery: Tammy White / Annie Wilkes

What are you most excited about for this production? : Annie Wilkes!!! It's a part I've been wanting to play for quite some time. It took 3 times!

Were you familiar with Misery before working on the show? : I have not read the novel but I certainly saw the movie. One of my favorite Kathy Bates performances.

What’s your favorite thriller, horror movie, or scary story? : I'll be honest. I'm not a big horror movie fan. I do love The Shinning and Sinners was amazing. I like my scares real. I'm always down for a true ghost story.

What’s a fun fact about you that audiences might know? : Tagging onto the previous question. I am very much interested in ghosts and the paranormal. I've been on a few ghost investigations and have seen quite a few things that I cannot explain. My goal is to hit all of the major haunted locations. So far I have been to The Wi******er Mansion, Salem, WaverlyHill Sanitorium and the Katrina Cannibal's apartment. Looking towards Gettysburg and The Lizzie Borden House...Stay Tuned.
