Kids 12 and under can make a splash at the Festival of the Lakes Kid's Day! ☀️🌊
On Saturday, July 18th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. weather permitting. Children 12 and under (accompanied by an adult) can enjoy free, unlimited play at the splash pad.
The Wolf Lake Aquatic Play Center is located at 2100 Calumet Avenue.

The 22nd Annual Festival of the Lakes is excited to continue to host events for everyone!
Person’s with Disabilities Day, will be held on Saturday, July 18th from 10:00 am to Noon on the festival grounds near the carnival at Wolf Lake Memorial Park. Those with special needs can enjoy free rides from Modern Midways and lunch provided and beverages from Pepsi. There will be no charge to park if you arrive before noon.

This event is free and offers goody bags to everyone in attendance, while supplies last. Wolf Lake Memorial Park is located at 2324 Calumet Avenue in Hammond, Indiana.

Don't miss the 22nd Annual Festival of the Lakes: “Rod, Custom & Bike Show”, taking place on Sunday, July 19, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Wolf Lake Aquatic Play Center at 2100 Calumet Ave in Hammond.
This popular annual event welcomes hot rods, classic cars, and custom motorcycle enthusiasts from across the region to showcase their vehicles and connect with fellow collectors and fans. As part of the long-running Festival of the Lakes, the show continues to be a highlight of the city’s summer programming.

Vehicle registration is open to the public. Pre-registration is $15 per vehicle and can be completed in advance at the Hammond Civic Center. Day-of registration is $20 (cash only) and will be available from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on the day of the event.
Attendees can enjoy a full afternoon of entertainment and activities, including a live DJ, dash plaques for participants, door prizes, awards, and food and concessions.

The Rod, Custom & Bike Show reflects the City of Hammond’s continued commitment to community engagement, family-friendly programming, and celebrating automotive culture.
