Bars have always been community gathering spaces. Historically, they have been known to foster conversation acting as place of respite for travelers and in some cases, were a cradle for rebellion.

In the old West, bars were even the first bedrock on a town.

We take that history seriously. We hope to keep those conversations going welcoming the day’s weary who’d like to take the edge off, the mavericks looking for a quiet corner to wrestle with their thoughts and the groups just looking to reconnect.

We’ve had a scorching August but it looks like it’s supposed to cool off ushering in the first of our favorite micro-season: β€œFool’s Fall.” Fool’s Fall is a week where you can still get fresh tomatoes and peaches off summer in the mid-80s rather than high-90s.
It’s probably not the last but it’s definitely the first.

It combines New Amsterdam gin, amaro nonino, beet root, aperol, lemon and honey for a profile that’s not too sweet and even a little effervescent.

It surprises you with its balance, unexpected and even curious how beautifully it blends together. Unique and cohesive.

The Purple Thing derives it’s summer-forward flavors with a base of vodka and coconut rum, pineapple, lime and ube. The ube gives it its striking shade of purple and lends a nutty component to an otherwise tropical cocktail.
