This year's Floyd Small Town Summer Summer has been one for the books! We hope all who attendend enjoyed themselves as much as we did! Thank you Town Of Floyd, VA crew and staff for presenting another epic year, 2026 was one to remember! The weather gods are cooperating today and it looks like we're in the clear! Meet you all in Lineberry Park today at 5:30PM for the last Floyd Small Town Summer event of 2026! This evening's KID ZONE is sponsored by Harvest Moon Food Store and will feature all of your favorite things, bubbles, bounce houses, yard games arts and crafts and more!

The FCHS Marching Band will kick off the evening at 6PM, followed by an opening set with Jesse Smathers Music and Nick Goad at 6:15PM and headliner at 7:30 with SWVA H***y Tonk All-Stars featuring Redd Volkaert, Rachel Hester, Silas Hamilton and more!!

The end of summer is finally upon us, but we still have one more fantastic Floyd Small Town Summer evening planned for you!

This Thursday, August 27th, come on out to Lineberry Park in downtown Floyd, VA for the last show of the season! We saved the best for last with a H***y Tonk Dance Party featuring SWVA H***y Tonk All-Stars, Redd Volkaert, Rachel Hester, Silas Hamilton and more! Openers will be Jesse Smathers and Nick Goad from Lonesome River Band! This event is FREE and family friendly!

We’ve got something special planned for this evening, in addition to great music! The Handmade Music School and Floyd Center for the Arts invite you to help us with a new community art project — we’ll start painting these four park benches tonight, which will remain in the town center for everyone to enjoy after the Small Town Summer events conclude!

Special thanks go out to Branden McKagen, Daniel and Morgan Grim, Tanja Vidovic, Sandra Peters, and the Christiansburg Home Depot and Walmart for the supplies and construction of the benches.

AUGUST 13th promises to be an epic evening of Floyd Small Town Summer fun! This event series sponsored by the Town Of Floyd, VA is FREE, and family friendly, so come on out and join us in downtown Floyd's Lineberry Park. Park opens at 5:30PM, music starts at 6!
