As a small family-owned restaurant, we're always striving to provide the best experience possible for our guests. Lately, we've found ourselves facing a question that we'd love your thoughts on.

If a dish is prepared exactly as described on our menu, cooked correctly, and made with quality ingredients—but a guest simply decides they don't personally enjoy the flavor or style of the dish—should the restaurant be expected to remake a completely different meal at no charge?

Of course, if we make a mistake, we'll always make it right. But when a dish is prepared exactly as ordered, should a small business absorb the cost because someone's personal taste didn't match their expectations?
