Hi everyone! I’m Omeika Williams, and I’m so excited to share a little bit about myself and my journey with you. I am the proud founder of Twist Chic Bartending Academy, a place I created to turn a passion for bartending into an opportunity for others to learn, grow, and shine behind the bar.

I started this academy because I believe bartending is more than just mixing drinks—it’s an art, a skill, and a way to connect with people. My goal is to provide hands-on training, teach professional techniques, and give my students the confidence to create amazing cocktails while having fun doing it. Every class is designed to be interactive, educational, and empowering, whether you’re looking to start a career, improve your skills, or just learn something new.

Starting Twist Chic Bartending Academy has been a dream come true. I’m passionate about sharing my knowledge, inspiring others, and creating a community of people who love the craft as much as I do.

I keep hearing people say: “You don’t need a bartending license in North Carolina.” ❌ That’s not the full story.

✅ In North Carolina, while you technically don’t need a “bartender license” to pour drinks, anyone serving alcohol must follow ABC (Alcoholic Beverage Control) rules.
✅ If you work for a bar, restaurant, or event, you must have responsible alcohol service knowledge – and most employers require certification for liability reasons.
✅ Taking a certified bartending course protects YOU and the business from fines, legal trouble, and mistakes behind the bar.
