So what is the Bash Blend and why is the 2025 Blend on tap in 2026? Glad you asked.

Every year at our annual Big Bad Apple Bash we press the apples grown all over our community, foraged and donated by YOU. That juice is then fermented and aged for a year, then released at the next year’s Bash.

The 2025 Blend is available now at the taproom and to go while we ferment the 2026 Blend for next year.

Here’s one cool thing about this c***r:
every year it’s wildly different depending on which apples were donated, plus the growing conditions of that past year. How cold did it get and for how long? Was there a draught? Was summer particularly hot? All of this shapes the final product.

This is actually the closest thing we make to the c***rs that were being made by farmers and orchard owners 200 years ago in this area. The process, the “whatever apples we go” approach, and allowing the c***r to just do its thing with minimal intervention all harkens back to the oldest of traditional c***rs in the US.

Tara joined the Duluth C***r fam before we even had furniture. She's a true day 1. She once told us that, upon arriving to our first ever staff meeting, she wondered if she had made a mistake because it didn't look like we would be ready to open on time. Well, joke's on her because somehow we did. But then right away the joke's back on us because within half an hour of opening we had to call her up and ask if she could come in and help out behind the bar.

Since then Tara has answered the call to grow and challenge herself over and over. As our taproom manager her fingerprints are all over so much of what we do and who we are. Her unique style helped shape our taproom and our company culture in permanent ways.

As you move on to your next chapter, Tara, we're confident your future is brighter than you even know. You've grown so much over the years, and will forever be considered more than a coworker or a pal by everyone at Duluth C***r.

You can do anything, Tara, just like that time you surfed a giant wave on a skateboard. ❤🍎 As you charge ahead in life, Duluth C***r is cheering you on.
