I’m back with an update on tariffs. Spoiler alert: they’re still in place and more are coming. This is absurd.

Thanks Adam Moskowitz for reminding me I needed to do an update.

If you want to be a big nerd too I highly recommend listening to Strict Scrutiny Podcast Leah Litman Melissa Murray Kate Shaw who do such an incredible job explaining Supreme Court mishegas that even a cheesemonger can wrap her head around some of it. They also came up with the “emotional support billionaire” concept which I think about at least once a day because it is just 🎯.

Crafted with the same top-notch ingredients as we carry in the shop, Bloomy’s lunches are fresh-made, abundant and delicious! Pick up after 11:30am on Wednesday, June 3 at the location of your choice. Please order by 6/3 at 10am.

This week’s lunch options:

Fancy-Ass Tuna Sandwich: We’re putting our fancy-ass tuna (Spanish grilled red tuna loin conservas in this vinegar-based tuna salad, along with extra virgin olive oil, mixed olives, cornichons, bright parsley and a swipe of garlic aioli, topped with arugula. No goopy mayo, no stinky onions.

Swing by the shop, grab a sandwich or picnic bundle and take the shopping shuttle down to Wickers Creek Market.

It's going to be a great day in Dobbs Ferry

Wickers Creek, the fabulous vintage and antique market is at the Waterfront today till 4pm. We're open now with sandwiches, picnic bundles, and everything else you need for a fabulous day at the park till 3pm. There's a shopping shuttle making loops between Downtown Dobbs and the Waterfront Park the whole time, so park once and take a ride through this wonderful village.

We're so excited that NY Lieutenant Governor Antonio Delgado, one of our state's most inspiring elected leaders, will join us to help raise awareness of continued efforts to protect and strengthen reproductive rights in New York against a grim national landscape. Plan to come by 5:30 so you can hear from him and other local electeds standing up for all of our rights.
