Get your calendars out folks! It’s time for the second annual Mozart’s Denver food drive to benefit the Greater Park Hill Community food pantry. We’ll come together for our community on Sunday, November 15, 2026 from 2-6pm.

Last year, you helped us to donate more than 700lb of shelf-stable food and personal care items at a time when many of our neighbors were facing a holiday season without a meal on the table. We want to top that donation this year, and we need your help!

We’ll celebrate your generosity with drink specials, food, a DJ spinning tunes, and of course a raffle with great prizes from our neighboring businesses. We’ll share more details in the coming days, so stay tuned to our social channels for info!

A few weeks ago, we received a message via Facebook from a woman named Wendy, whose great-grandparents Juanita and Sam Wickam owned Mozart’s until sometime in the early to mid-1980s.

Wendy and her sister Trish unearthed a trove of photographs from those days and it’s incredible to see that, even 40-plus years later, so little has changed. We might have traded the pool table for dart boards, but people still gather for some friendly barroom competition, draft beers and potlucks. In the top-right corner of photo no. 9, you can even see the carved wooden wall hanging that we still have in the booth today!

(You can’t smoke in here anymore though, don’t get an ideas.)

Did Joey win the jersey or release his debut album (➡️) last night? Either way, a good time was had by all at Mozart’s as the Broncos sneaked by the defending champs in OT. Want to win your own jersey? You’ll just have to join us on game day!

On Saturday we hosted an 80s and 90s-themed dance party to support the Center on Colfax and our East Colfax neighbors. The only thing hotter than the costumes were the moves, and we came together as a community to raise more than $500 for LGBTQIA youth in our neighborhood. Who’s better than our guests? Nobody 🫶🏻
