One year ago, we opened our doors with a dream — to bring extraordinary wines and unforgettable experiences to East Dallas.

This Thursday feels like a celebration.

Not just of our first year, but of every person who has walked through our doors, joined us for a tasting, discovered a new favorite wine, and helped turn that dream into something real.

And what better way to celebrate than with two of South Africa’s most iconic wineries: The Sadie Family and Vilafonté.

🍷 Rare and highly allocated wines

🍷 Stories, history, and the people behind the bottles
🍷 A guided tasting through some of South Africa’s most celebrated vineyards

We’ll begin with three remarkable wines from The Sadie Family:

✨ Skerpioen – a Chenin Blanc & Palomino blend from South Africa’s rugged West Coast
✨ Kokerboom – 100% old-vine Semillon from vines planted in the 1930s
✨ Palladius – one of South Africa’s most celebrated white wines

And here’s the wild part: we were only allocated FOUR bottles of Kokerboom for the entire store.

Then we’ll move into the reds:

✨ Vilafonté Seriously Old Dirt
✨ Vilafonté Series M
✨ Vilafonté Series C

These are wines that collectors chase, critics celebrate, and most people rarely have the opportunity to taste side by side.

🚨 New Artist Alert at I Want That One 🎨🍷
Still slightly obsessed with the fact that we met Kristin Ruscher at The Other Art Fair just 10 days ago… and now her work has officially moved into the store. Things escalated quickly. 😏
Kristin is a Dallas-based mixed media artist whose work blends nostalgia, storytelling, and symbolic imagery to explore themes of connection, identity, and belonging. In other words: art that pulls you in and quietly refuses to let go.
We are LOVING:
