Was volunteering at TEXSOM worth all those hours?
HELL YES. 🍷
Sure, there was unpacking. There was pouring. There was polishing. There was a LOT of glassware. But then there was the wine…
And OH. MY. GRAPES. 🍇
Just take a look at some of the incredible bottles I got to taste along the way. Some seriously exciting discoveries, a few new obsessions, and more than one “Yep… I NEED this in the store” moment.
Keep your eyes on the shelves at I Want That One! — because I’m hoping you’ll be seeing some of these beauties making an appearance very soon.
Turns out volunteering has its perks. 🍷😏

Okay… we know. We’re a day late.
But is it EVER too late to celebrate great bubbles? Absolutely not.
Yesterday was International Cap Classique Day, celebrating South Africa’s exceptional Traditional Method sparkling wines — made using the same time-honored process as Champagne, but with a distinctly South African sense of place. 🇿🇦🥂
