I hope we all take just a few min this weekend to reflect on what the day means. I recently re-read an article that puts this day in perspective. Many believe we are the last beacon of freedom, especially as you look around the world at all the tyranny du Jour. And today it seems many of our freedoms are under attack. 1st amendment, 2nd amendment, 4th amendment, and Bill of Rights in general as some wish to exude more influence, and intrude on our privacy, especially with the upcoming omnipresence of AI.

Remember this weekend for individual souls in our military who sacrificed their life to protect your right to the pursuit of happiness without interference. As it is one of the most painful days of their lives, aside from the day their loved one was actually lost. Wish them well, help or support them in any way you can. Invite a vet or family member to your cookout. Or take 5 seconds and say a prayer for them, that they will be ok, and although they may not see it or hear it, we are so very proud of your soldier, we appreciate them, and morn with you for your loss. We also shall not waste the sacrifice and do our best to live up to their expectation, that we appreciate their sacrifice, we appreciate the freedoms given by this great country and will stand with them in their fight to protect us.🙏
