There are several factors delaying the planned reopening.

1) while wings are no no longer a problem to GET We are working with suppliers to get them a a reasonable price. Otherwise, there would be a huge price increase that we don’t want customers to face.

2) delivery outages
We get weekly emails from our providers regarding delivery shortages due to suppliers, staffing shortages, and now - school openings.

Just as many people say “but I can cook wings in 10 minutes at home” don’t understand the scale and all the moving parts to make this work.

3) staffing
We were already short staffed, and now with being closed (even though we offered hours to all staff in Fall River) we have even less than we did. ask just about any restaurant owner about staffing these days..... it won't be as polite of an answer.

4) logistics
A month plus of being closed is a huge deal With no income - and bills to pay. Again - people think that a successful restaurant translates to endless wealth.

100% of any grant we received was passed on to our staff during the pandemic.

At a 65% loss of revenue for over 15 months
Making it through the pandemic was only the first step - now it’s even harder

5) Fall River
We have staff in our MA location that had only worked through pandemic - and the idea of dine in was a complete mystery to them.

Being short staffed and having to do additional training makes it hard to not already be spread thin.

We opened Boneheads 8 years ago. I put every ounce of money I had into it. I quit my well paying full time job for it. It’s consumed the life of myself and my partner for almost a decade and this pandemic was just the icing on the cake.

So to say we are using excuses etc for not being open is simply untrue.

There are so many factors against the small business owner that the 5 reasons above don’t even scratch the surface of why we aren’t open yet.

If you want to support - as I’ve mentioned - Fall River is open for dine in, carry out, and delivery (within Fall River until 5pm)
Stop by and see if Myself or my partner is a bartender, a server, a delivery driver, or cooking/shaking your food that day.

Unfortunately we have no update on our delivery issue. We are still closed and are working to rectify the situation ASAP.

If anyone understands about frustration, it’s us - and we appreciate your patience.

As you may know - after COVID - there is a a nationwide shortage on hundreds of items. Believe it or not, Chicken Wings has fallen into that category several times.

We are working with our distributors but we are unable to open today in West Warwick until we get it sorted.

Hopefully later today or tomorrow we will be back to normal operation.
