Dive bar vibes at Guppy’s in Conshohocken, PA! 🍻🍔
If you love a classic neighborhood bar with a laid-back, no-frills atmosphere, add this spot to your list! Think good vibes, classic drinks, and seriously yummy bar food that goes way beyond your typical dive menu. 😋
You know I’m always a fan of clean eating and quality ingredients, so seeing that they use grass-fed, all-natural beef and hand-cut fries is definitely a BIG plus in my book! Add reasonable prices and generous portions, and you’ve got a neighborhood spot worth checking out. 👀
What We Tried 😍:
– Basic Mule — from their fall drink menu, made with Tito’s vodka, pumpkin syrup & ginger b**r 🍹
– Rocky’s Cheesesteak Rolls — two hand-stuffed egg rolls filled with shaved ribeye, fried onions, and Cooper Sharp cheese, served with a side of Cheez Whiz 🤤
– Amanda Freas’s Hand-Cut Fries — topped with applewood-smoked bacon and melted cheese, drizzled with ranch and finished with chives 🍟
– Korean BBQ Chicken Salad — fried chicken, romaine, fried noodles, cabbage, carrots, cucumbers, and ranch dressing 🥗
– Ace Burger — thick-cut bacon, Cooper Sharp cheese, long hots, mayo, hot sauce (we got it on the side!), fried onions, and shredded lettuce 🍔
– Jeweler Joe’s Southern Chicken Sandwich — a HUGE sandwich named one of 6ABC’s Top 5 Dishes of 2020! Marinated chicken breaded in their secret 7-spice blend, topped with pepper jack cheese, chopped pickles, and coleslaw on a seeded Liscio’s bun. 🔥
Guppy’s is everything you want in a neighborhood bar: unpretentious, welcoming, great drinks, and seriously good food. Definitely a local favorite! ❤️
