All good things must come to an end… at least for a little while. 🦜

The Lost Kahiki is sailing off after one final weekend, September 24–27, with something a little spooky taking over October 1st. 👻

Join us for our Kahiki Send-Off Party on September 24th from 5–8PM featuring a book signing with our friend Douglas Grant, an exotica DJ set by Matt, and a featured Shipwreck Shirley’s cocktail. 🍹

No reservations needed until 8PM - just come early, grab a drink, and send Kahiki off with us. We’ll keep the party going until 11PM.

Reservations are available through September 27th, so book your final trip to The Lost Kahiki now. 🗿🌺

The family has begun to rebuild. 🦜

After the devastating and highly suspicious disappearance of Kiko, we weren’t sure if The Lost Kahiki would ever be the same.

Enter: Chiko.

Courtesy of two absolute gems, Susanne and Sam Horner. ❤️ We cannot thank you both enough for such a sweet, thoughtful, and completely unexpected gift. It truly means the world to us. You will forever have friends (and apparently a parrot nephew) here at The Lost Kahiki.

MISSING: ONE VERY LOVED PARROT 🦜

Sometime this weekend, Kiko clocked in for his shift at The Lost Kahiki and never clocked out.

Because someone stole him.

A few things:

1. Kiko loved his job.
2. He was very good at it.
3. He was decor, not a party favor.
4. Whoever took him has now inherited a deeply unfortunate curse.

We’re choosing to believe there was simply some confusion about how bars work, so just to clarify:

You are supposed to leave with your friends. Not the decorations.

All jokes aside, please stop stealing from the pop-up. So much of The Lost Kahiki was locally sourced, thrifted, collected, or made specifically for the space. Our team put a lot of time and love into creating this experience, and many of these pieces can’t simply be replaced.

We love creating weird, fun, over-the-top s**t for Columbus. Help us keep doing it 🫶

PLEASE bring Kiko back to us. He is on a Crab Rangoon diet, and we miss him a lot.

Today’s BTS content is on lighting 💡 We know how important lighting was to our space and so we had to call Elena for our custom pieces!

Elena has the most beautiful handmade fixtures that can be found in tiki bars around the country. We legitimately feel that the Lost Kahiki wouldn't be what it is without her!
