How did a short week feel this long?

Either way, Friday made it.

And today feels a lot more like summer than September — which means the patio is exactly where we want to be.

Maybe this is the Friday for a date night that lasts a little longer than planned. Good conversation, a patio full of life, and nowhere you need to be next.

The patio will be lively. The wine will be cold. And there’s no reason to rush any of it.

What we’re grateful for today.

A good life is made up of a lot of little moments. A wave goodbye. Something delicious. A drink poured just right. People laughing together. A beautiful day at home and somewhere far from home.

And maybe a little gratitude from many miles away for the people keeping our favorite corner of downtown Colorado Springs full of life while we’re gone. 🌺
