Horner Park Neighbors Working to improve the community since 1988. Serving as a liaison for the neighborhood with the alde

Horner Park Neighbors (formerly the Horner Park West Neighborhood Association) has been working to improve the community since 1988, helping residents to deal with problems they might have, or that they see developing. We serve as a liaison for the neighborhood with the alderman’s office, Chicago Police and other civic organizations. Horner Park Neighbors represents the neighborhood bounded by Montrose, California, Irving Park and Sacramento. Horner Park Neighbors holds monthly board meetings that are open to all. Please stay tuned to our social media and emails for updated information. Horner Park Neighbors for much of its history has been a concerns-driven organization, working to keep our community safe and clean. As neighborhood concerns are low at present, we are focusing on social gatherings in the hopes that the friendships formed during this period will keep the neighborhood strong for years to come.

🚧 4000 Block of Mozart – Parking Alert! 🚧

Horner Park neighbors: If you park on the 4000 block of Mozart, please be aware that the City has posted temporary No Parking signs beginning tomorrow through October 7, from 6:00 AM–5:00 PM, weather permitting.

The City will be working on the long-awaited installation of speed humps along Mozart to help slow traffic coming off Irving Park Road and make the block safer for our neighbors, kids, and pets. 🙌

🌧️ Important: The rain has NOT been kind to the temporary signs, and several have fallen down or are difficult to see. Even if you don’t see a sign near your car, the parking restriction is still scheduled.

If your car is currently parked on Mozart, I would plan to move it before 6:00 AM to avoid the possibility of being ticketed or towed.

Please share with neighbors who regularly park on the block so no one gets an unpleasant surprise! 🚗🚧
