Change brought our team closer.

Bar Rescue changed more than just the look of Pete’s. When everything suddenly felt brand new, I’ll admit that adjusting wasn’t always easy. This place has so much history, and seeing that much change at once took some getting used to.

But something pretty incredible happened along the way. We adapted together, supported each other, and ultimately became even closer as a team. It reminded me that sometimes change can be uncomfortable while still leading to something really positive.

As we come out of Labor Day and celebrate the people who make businesses like ours possible, I’m especially thankful for the Pete’s team and everyone who continues to walk through our doors. Come see what’s changed, and more importantly, what hasn’t.

Good food starts with good people in the kitchen.

S&J’s Café is growing our kitchen team, and we’re looking for a full-time cook who wants to be part of a great local restaurant.

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, ready to work weekend hours, and enjoys being part of a fast-paced but welcoming environment.

Previous cooking experience is preferred, but don’t let a shorter résumé stop you from applying. If you have some kitchen experience, the right attitude, and a genuine desire to learn and improve, we’re willing to work with you.

Pay is based on experience, with an opportunity to develop your skills alongside an experienced and supportive team.
