Gonna be some super fresh heady dank 4/20 weather tomorrow at BAD SONS Beer Co. Smoke In The Valley Brewers Ball. Come check us out. We've got three hyped up beers. Great day at Smoke In The Valley yesterday.

Stoked to pull some hardware with a third place in the BJCP with our Lichtenhainer "Slip of the Licht" and scored 2nd peoples choice with our candy beers and the sleeper favorite "Pickle Ticklin" our Dill Pickle Gosé.

Congrats to with the 1st place and crazy good watermelon sour patch sour ale.

Thank you to Justin and BAD SONS Beer Co. for throwing us a party and platform to share our brews with the public.

We've got two new brews on the menu.
#1 - don't be fooled. That ain't no stout. That's "Cane Juice: Midnight!" probably the most labor intensive and ingredient laden brew we've ever produced.... Get ready... our base sour ale pumped full of purple sugar cane, pink dragon fruit, prickly pear, mango, pineapple, banana, blue raspberry, and cotton candy. 🫠🤣😶‍🌫️

#2 - "Almost Hop Water" an ultra session ipa coming in at 2.8% abv hopped with Acacca. Very crushable and equally guilt free. For those who want their hop water with just a pinch of "adult."

#3 - our Maui relief t-shirt campaign is still rolling. Please consider grabbing a shirt to help aid those directly affected by the Maui firestorm. One of our favorite breweries out there - a fantastic spot for unique brews was not spared from the devastion. They're also running a fundraiser over on their page if anyone would like to assist them as well.

We've been on radio silence lately but recent events have us crawling out of hiding. We've created a new shirt campaign to help raise relief funds for those affected by the Maui wildfires. As many of you know Hawaii holds very special meaning for us. Regions affected are places we've spent time. The destruction is heart-wrenching and out thoughts go out those affected.

We jumped on the "drunkin grownups" bandwagon to create a collab t-shirt that's liable to catch an eye or two.

Raised funds go directly from Bonfire to the Maui Food Bank at the end of the sales window.

Into the tanks recently is a brew inspired by our trip to the Oahu or as we like to call it "the homeland" 😂 IYKYK

We are particularly fond of cane juice... Which is quite literally juiced sugarcane served on its own or paired with tropical fruits.

This was particularly well done by on the north shore - incidentally next to our favorite Poké spot

The flavor of sugar cane is truly unique and we felt it would go quite well in a sour brew! For this one we were able to obtain a small amount of fresh sugar cane which was broken down into smaller sections to increase surface area and contact within the mash. The batch was split into two sections... One will receive the POG (pineapple, orange, guava) treatment, while the other will go the Mai Tai direction (orange & lilikoi aged on almonds and dark rum soaked oak cubes) 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯

Back to our roots of doing some crazy whack experimentation! 🤙 🤙🤙

Today, the Supreme intergalactic tournament of homebrew Champions took place at Twelve Percent Beer Project. Where more than 20 of Connecticuts top Homebrewers competed for one of the 8 spots available for the final round to be held in February.

Glad we had a chance to pour two of our beers for everyone. 🍻 🍻 🍻

On the left we have "Hop Harder: Citra" and on the right we have "Will the real Phantasm, please stand up?"

HHC focusing on our old process and "sweeter" rendition of the NEIPA which has done us well so far. Only we more than tripled our usual dry hop rate. 🤯🤯🤯

Real Pantasm utilizing a bevy of new techniques that we've been refining over the last year. This is our "Talk to Me Juice" gold medal winner with the addition of thiolized yeast and .nz powder. 🔥 🔥 🔥

We are totally happy with the results of both. Each hits on opposing sides of the neipa spectrum in terms of dry vs sweet, and we would happily take either one into battle with us on Saturday .percent.beer.project
However we have opted to only take one..... The other will be put in cans and shared around 🍻

"Von Wolfhausen"
The only official American tribute to the greatest beer in all the world. Is a German Style Festbier. Coming in at 6.0% Abv it is an extremely refreshing malt exhibition backed up by delicate floral notes from Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops.

This will be our first of two entries that you will find next Saturday December 3rd at the .percent.beer.project survivor series homebrew rumble.
