Counter Weight Brewing Company We’ll delve into passion projects focused on wild yeast and wood aging, while continuing to evolve the definition of what a big, flavorful, hoppy beer can be.

Our goal is to continuously honor long-held brewing traditions while exploring new and innovative methods to highlight each ingredient and delight your palate with every sip. From beautiful, rustic Belgian ales and refined, sturdy German lagers to bright, hop-forward American IPA's, we will venture on an exciting odyssey of brewing. ⚡NO HOPE FOR THE KIDS IPA⚡

One of our original and an IPA we've been brewing for close to nine years returns to the Beer Hall this Friday!

No Hope continues to be a favorite hoppy offering of ours and we're happy to be sharing it with you again. This Mosaic hop driven IPA brings big pineapple flavors, hoppy dankness, along with some nice tangerine notes!
6.4% ABV

If you've visited us at the Beer Hall, you might have noticed the room behind the main bar that houses our open top fermenters, visible through the glass; this is our little "Lagerkeller" room. We use these oepn fermentation vessels with our Kasper Schulz brewhouse for new and returning lager beers (and hefeweizen) in the Beer Hall.

When we designed our new brewery we knew we wanted tools that would allow us to explore both old and new world techniques and enable our brewers to satisfy their curiosities. Producing beers in our open top fermenters has allowed us to learn and taste the characteristics and qualities contributed by fermenting beer in a shallow and wide vessel without any pressure on the beer. After primary fermentation nears completion, we transfer the beer to horizontal lagering tanks to finish conditioning and lagering for an extended amount of time to help ensure the final product reaches the highest quality before being served. Our team really enjoys bringing these beers to life, utilizing new ingredients or processes to educate ourselves and to share beers made with intention and heart with Counter Weight drinkers.
