šŸŽ‰ Seven Years, Countless Memories... and the Return of a Cocktail We Love šŸŽ‰

As we celebrate 7 incredible years, we’re bringing back a cocktail that takes us back: A Fine Balance.

Crafted with Conniption Kinship Gin, yellow Chartreuse, fresh lemon juice, pea flower simple syrup , egg white, and lavender bitters, this cocktail has been part of our story from the early days. Thoughtfully balanced, beautifully floral, and unmistakably Artisan’s Palate, it’s a drink we’re proud to pour again during this anniversary celebration.

And the fun isn’t over yet... we’re on Day 4 of our 7 Lucky Seats Celebration! šŸ€

Every night from September 8–15, 7 lucky guests will find a surprise under their seat. Will tonight be your night? Prizes include signature cocktails, free entrĆ©es, desserts, w**e, or even a gift card!

Join us this weekend as we raise a glass to seven years of community, creativity, hospitality, and all the memories we’ve shared together. Every cocktail has a story, and every seat could be a lucky one. šŸ„‚

Reservations are strongly encouraged, but walk-ins are always welcome.

šŸŽØ TODAY- Artisan’s Palate Turns Seven! šŸŽ‰

We’re so excited to celebrate seven incredible years as part of the Charlotte community. Thank you for being part of our story and helping shape Artisan’s Palate into what it is today.

To celebrate, from September 8-15, we’re leaning into the luckiness of the number seven. Each night we’re open, seven lucky seats throughout the restaurant will have a surprise underneath. Guests might find a gift card, complimentary cocktail, appetizer, or one of 7 anniversary treats.

The celebration will also feature a throwback menu favorite, our beloved Short Rib & Milanese Grits, along with a throwback cocktail, A Fine Balance (Conniption Kinship Gin, limoncello, lemon juice, honey simple syrup, egg white, and lavender bitters).

Follow along throughout September as we rewind the clock and share stories from our journey, from our first art show and earliest menu creations to some of the moments that helped shape Artisan’s Palate over the last seven years. We’ll be looking back at the dishes, artists, local farms, and community connections that have been at the heart of what we do since day one.

ā€œWhen I opened Artisan’s Palate seven years ago, my vision was to create more than a restaurant. I wanted a place where local food, local art, and local community could come together under one roof. From the beginning, supporting local artists, farms and producers has been central to who we are, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey.ā€
— Chef Christa Csoka

We’re kicking off our anniversary month with this snapshot from the early days of Artisan’s Palate. Looking back at this moment, it’s hard not to reflect on everything that’s happened since that photo was taken: thousands of meals served, countless celebrations shared, over a hundred artists showcased, relationships built with local farmers and makers, and a community that continues to inspire us every day. ā¤ļø

Here’s to seven years of food, art, community, and connection.

šŸ Artisan’s Palate Craft Series: The Art of Pear Cordial šŸ

We’re back with Anji’s footage, and this week, we’re featuring one of our favorite house-made ingredients: pear cordial.

What we love most about this ingredient is the story behind it. We start with the poaching liquid from our Poached Pear Salad and transform it into our house-made pear cordial, giving new life to an ingredient that still has so much to offer. That same poaching liquid is also the foundation for our pear vinaigrette and pear hoisin barbecue sauce, creating a thoughtful thread that runs from the kitchen to the bar connecting dishes and cocktails across the menu.

One of our favorite ways to showcase it is in ā€˜The Southwood’ - a cocktail Chef Christa created and named after a friend. Made with Tito’s Vodka, Canton ginger liqueur, pear cordial, fresh lemon, and sparkling w**e, it’s another example of how stories, ingredients, and people can come together in a single glass.

The best ingredients tell more than one story.

šŸ… Artisan’s Palate Craft Series: The Art of the Unexpected

At Artisan’s Palate, some of our favorite ingredients are the ones people never expect to find in a cocktail.

This week, Anji is taking you behind the scenes as she preps our house-made tomato & mint shrub, transforming sun-ripened tomatoes and mint from our garden into a key ingredient in our award-winning You Say Tomato cocktail.

Made from scratch with tomatoes, fresh mint, sugar, and vinegar, the shrub develops a bright balance of acidity, sweetness, and fresh herbal notes. It’s then paired with Ford’s Gin, Canton ginger liqueur, house-made tomato sugar, and topped with prosecco for a crisp, refreshing finish.

From the garden to the glass, we’re always looking for ways to turn familiar ingredients into something unexpected. šŸ…šŸŒæšŸ„‚
