Natty didn't have any classes today, but Callie and I had AoT mares & Geldings and she did tons better today than yesterday! I was proud of her. She tied 10th out of 12 seasoned AoT teams.

Day 1 of the RMHA International Grand Championships show went well!

Natty took 5th in his 4-5 yr old stallions country trail pleasure class. He was a smidge fast and up, but he was such a good boy with LaTasha Johnson in the irons!

Callie was a little anxious in her class, but didn't do anything naughty. She was just fussing with her bit lot, which is a thing for her. It's just a Myler short shank MB02. We made it through our amateur 10+ mares and geldings class though and I was very pleased with her overall. She tied 9th.

Little pre-show workout after a long day of travel. Callie does better if she gets a little exercise after being cooped up. I sure wish I had an indoor arena like this!

Representing Ruffled Feathers Ranch and proudly campaigned by Big Block Stables & LaTasha Johnson, "Natty" RFR America's Native Spirit, will take on the Country Trail and Western Pleasure divisions as he steps onto one of the biggest stages in the Rocky Mountain Horse world.

From his Texas roots to the Kentucky show ring, this young stallion has already come a long way and we’re incredibly proud to watch him continue to grow and shine.

The big show starts September 2nd. Now the only thing left to say is…

It's been blistering hot here and I'm thankful for the broad leaf oak trees we have for shade, but days like this, they need a little extra!
