We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Dennis Willmott, a true pillar of Vermont’s blues community and a familiar face at Red Square. Dennis brought his passion, talent, and love of music to our stage for many years, sharing unforgettable afternoons of blues with friends, fans, and fellow musicians.

As the bandleader of Left Eye Jump and a co-founder of the Vermont Blues Society, Dennis dedicated countless hours to preserving and growing the blues tradition in Vermont. His influence reached far beyond the stage, touching musicians, venues, and audiences throughout the state.

Dennis wasn’t just a performer at Red Square. He was part of our family. His music, warm spirit, and genuine love for bringing people together will be greatly missed.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends, bandmates, and the entire Vermont music community during this difficult time.

Thank you, Dennis, for the music, the memories, and the joy you shared with all of us.
