Saturday! 9/12 8-10pm we've got Zack DuPont on it stage!

Zack Dupont is a Bristol, VT-based independent songwriter and guitarist. Active since 2008, music has led him all over America, sharing the stage in support of nationally touring acts like Taj Mahal, Sturgill Simpson, Grace Potter, Blake Mills, Suzanne Vega, Julian Lage, Jerry Douglas, Bahamas and Pat Benatar, to name a few. Poetic lyrical imagery, finger-style guitar work and cosmic loops make up the indie-folk dreamscape in which Dupont weaves in and out of.

“Simply put, Dupont is an elite guitarist. Here and throughout the album, his attention to dynamic subtlety — in addition to immaculate technical polish and engaging melody lines — is remarkable. Friday! Sept. 11, 7-8pm, Milton Busker will be gracing our stage!

Milton Busker is an indie Americana singer-songwriter based in Essex, Vermont, best known as the frontman and primary songwriter for the Burlington-area band Milton Busker & The Grim Work. Self-described as the "world's foremost purveyor of suit-folk", his music blends elements of Americana, alt-country, folk, and jazz, coupled with a distinctively expressive, measured vocal delivery and witty, self-deprecating lyricism.

Busker first emerged as a prominent figure in the Burlington music scene in the early 2000s.

Milton Busker & The Grim Work

In 2014, Busker ran into his old friend and guitarist David Ball at a local Vermont farmer's market, prompting them to form a new project. They recruited mandolin player Jom Hammack and later completed the lineup with bassist John Treybal and drummer Dave Simpson.

The band describes their trademark "suit-folk" sound as "the people's music, all dolled up for a night on the town, or an Appalachian ditty played by Cole Porter’s poker friends"—a style often contrasted by Busker performing in a suit, tie, and shamefully inappropriate footwear.
